President and CEO, PepVax, Inc.
Mahesh Narayanan is an entrepreneur in biotechnology with extensive experience in the healthcare and life sciences industry and a strong focus in business development and business start-up strategies.
As President and CEO of PepVax, Inc., he provides business and scientific guidance in the development of cancer therapeutics and immunotherapy. Before joining PepVax, Mahesh has been a scientist in the Antibacterial Drug Performance Unit (DPU) at GlaxoSmithKline focused on antibiotics development for Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and other drug-resistant bacteria.
Previously, he was part of the Penn Biotech Group through Wharton School of Business, where he has provided strategic and tactical guidance to a diverse array of domestic and international pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. During his consulting years, he also held a position as adjunct professor of Anatomy and Physiology at Philadelphia University.
Mahesh received his Master’s in Biotechnology from the University of Pennsylvania and his bachelor’s degrees in History and Pre-Medical Sciences from Boston University.
